This Limited Warranty sets out the terms and conditions under which Thailand Truck Tires provides warranty coverage for its tires. Please read this document carefully.

PART A: RADIAL THAILAND TRUCK TIRES TIRE LIMITED WARRANTY

  1. Eligible Parties

This Limited Warranty applies to all radial tires manufactured and supplied by Thailand Truck Tires.

The following parties are eligible to claim under this Limited Warranty:

  • The original purchaser of new Thailand Truck Tires branded radial tires; or
  • An authorized agent acting on behalf of the original purchaser,

provided that the tires bear complete and legible serial numbers.

  1. Warranty Period

This Limited Warranty is valid for a period of four (4) years, commencing from the earlier of:

  • The Bill of Lading (B/L) issue date; or
  • The date of manufacture as indicated by the tire serial number.
  1. Warranty Coverage

If an Ortec radial tire becomes unserviceable solely due to a manufacturing defect, Thailand Truck Tires will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the tire; or
  • Replace the tire with a comparable new radial tire; or
  • Apply a pro-rata discount or issue an appropriate credit in favor of the eligible party.

Replacement Cost Calculation

The customer’s charge for replacement will be calculated as follows:

Adjustment Benchmark Price (excluding taxes) × Applicable Adjustment Percentage

Where a credit is issued, the value of the credit shall correspond to the applicable discount amount.

  1. Adjustment Percentage Schedule (Radial Tires)

Adjustment is determined based on Remaining Tread Depth (RTD%) and tire age, as outlined below.

  1. Measurement and Calculation of Remaining Tread Depth
  • A vernier caliper or professional tread-depth gauge must be used.
  • Measurements must be taken away from wear indicators and ribs.
  • The caliper must be held vertically to the bottom of the groove.
  • Measurement points should be located at a groove along the crown centerline or the groove closest to the tread centerline.

Calculation Method:

  • Measure tread depth at four equally spaced positions around the tire.
  • The average of these four measurements shall be deemed the Remaining Tread Depth.
  1. Exclusions (Radial Tires)

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Tires that have been repaired, retreaded, or sold as scrap;
  • Tires presented more than 48 months after the B/L issue date (or manufacture date if B/L is unavailable);
  • Tires removed from service for more than six (6) months prior to warranty submission;
  • Damage or irregular wear resulting from accidents, punctures, cuts, impacts, collisions, fire, or external forces;
  • Improper mounting, demounting, alignment, inflation, wheel balance, operation, overload, overspeed, braking, vibration, or misuse;
  • Vehicle mechanical defects or improper storage;
  • Use of incorrect inner tubes, resistance boards, or O-rings;
  • Tires whose appearance has been intentionally altered;
  • Tires containing added fillers, sealants, ballast, or balancing substances;
  • Any form of repair or retreading.
  1. Other Terms (Radial Tires)
  • After settlement of a warranty claim, the failed tire shall remain in the possession of Thailand Truck Tires or its authorized agent for a minimum of three (3) months prior to disposal.
  • Thailand Truck Tires shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including time loss or vehicle loss, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

PART B: BIAS THAILAND TRUCK TIRES TIRE LIMITED WARRANTY

  1. Eligible Parties

This Limited Warranty applies to all Thailand Truck Tires manufactured and supplied by Thailand Truck Tires.

Eligible claimants include the original purchaser or an authorized agent, provided the tires bear complete serial numbers.

  1. Warranty Period

The warranty period for Thailand Truck Tires is three (3) years, commencing from the earlier of:

  • The Bill of Lading (B/L) issue date; or
  • The date of manufacture indicated on the serial number.
  1. Warranty Coverage

If a Thailand Truck Tires tire becomes unserviceable due solely to a manufacturing defect, Thailand Truck Tires will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the tire; or
  • Replace it with a comparable new Thailand Truck Tires tire; or
  • Apply a pro-rata adjustment or credit.
  1. Adjustment Calculation (Bias Tires)

The customer’s replacement charge shall be calculated as follows:

Original Purchase Price (excluding taxes) × (Remaining Tread Depth ÷ Original Tread Depth)

  • If a manufacturing defect is confirmed and tread wear is less than 2.00 mm, a 100% adjustment will be granted.
  • Once remaining tread depth is below 2.00 mm, the tire is deemed fully worn, and no adjustment will apply.
  1. Measurement of Remaining Tread Depth

Measurement procedures and calculation methods for bias tires follow the same standards outlined in Section 5 (Radial Tires).

  1. Exclusions (Bias Tires)

This Limited Warranty does not apply to the same exclusions listed under Section 6 (Radial Tires).

  1. Other Terms (Bias Tires)
  • Failed tires subject to approved claims must remain in the possession of Thailand Truck Tires or its authorized agent for three (3) months before disposal.
  • Thailand Truck Tires shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of time or vehicle use, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Commercial truck tires for sale

This Limited Warranty replaces all prior warranties and is subject to applicable local laws and regulations.
