Bridgestone 29.5R25 Loader Tires

The Bridgestone 29.5R25 is a radial earthmover tire for large wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks. We supply it from Thailand to quarries, mines, contractors and equipment dealers, with the tread type, star rating and production date listed in every quote.

What 29.5R25 Means

The size tells you most of what you need to know:
– 29.5: section width in inches (about 750 mm)
– R: radial construction
– 25: rim diameter in inches, usually on a 25.00/3.5 rim
– Overall diameter: about 74 to 76 in, depending on tread depth
29.5R25 tires fit loaders in the Cat 980 and Volvo L180 to L220 class, and 40-ton articulated haulers such as the Volvo A40 and Cat 740. Check the size on your old tire or in the machine manual before ordering.

Choosing the Right 29.5R25 Bridgestone Tread

The code after the pattern name is the TRA service class. It matters more than the brand when you pick a tire for your site.

L-3 for general loading

L-3 treads such as the Bridgestone VJT work in sand, gravel and stockpile loading. They give good traction and a smoother ride, and they cost less than deep-tread versions.

L-5 for rock and quarry work

L-5 extra-deep treads resist cuts from sharp rock and last much longer at the face of a quarry. For that work we stock the Bridgestone VSDL 29.5R25 L-5 tire.

E-3 and E-4 for haulers

Articulated haulers need a tread that sheds heat on long cycles. If you run dump trucks, ask us for E-rated options such as the Double Coin REM-9 29.5R25 E-4 tire.

One Star or Two Star

Radial OTR tires carry a star rating on the sidewall. It shows how strong the casing is and how much load it can carry at a given pressure. One-star (1*) tires are more flexible, grip better and ride more smoothly, so they suit loaders. Two-star (2*) tires carry heavier loads at higher pressure, which is why haul trucks and loaders working with heavy material usually need them. Fitting the wrong rating shortens tire life even when the size is correct.
Always replace 29.5R25 tires on the same axle in pairs, with the same tread class and star rating. Mixed tires on one axle wear unevenly and put stress on the drivetrain.

29.5R25 Radial vs 29.5-25 Tire

A 29.5-25 tire is a bias-ply tire of the same size. Bias tires cost less and have stiff sidewalls, which some operators prefer for short loading cycles on rough ground. Radials run cooler, wear slower and give better fuel economy on longer runs. If budget comes first, see the Alliance 29.5-25 28PR bias tire.

Bridgestone 29.5R25 Price and Ordering

The Bridgestone 29.5R25 price depends on tread class, star rating, quantity and delivery terms, so we quote each order separately. Every quote includes the DOT production week and the shipping options to your port.
To order, send the pattern, quantity and destination through our tire quote request form. More loader and dozer sizes are listed in the OTR tires catalog and on the Bridgestone truck tires page.
